Why You Should Register a MyBlogLog Account Today
First time I saw MyBlogLog Widget was in TechCrunch, I wondered what is this..and I thought that it`s an expensive script that TechCrunch use -I was too lazy to click on the “Provided by MyBlogLog” Link :)-. But since QuickOnlineTips talked about it I register on it and start to use it 9 days ago.
A lot of you know about MyBlogLog Communities and even have your own, so what is the big deal?!!
Well, an interesting results start to appear after the 3rd day I chatted and contacted with a lot of members in MyBlogLog!
- My Feeds are doubled!
Unfortunately, this number decreased as I didn’t post the last 3 days
- I got a lot of traffic from MyBlogLog!
About 30.57% of the traffic were from MyBlogLog last week!
So how do I do it?!
Well, there`re several ways that make other visitors/members enter your profile and your community page(i.e your blog):
- Chat with members, send them Greetings (e.g for new year)
- Enter the Members page and welcome the new members.
- Simply enter others profiles, so you`ll appear in their “People Who Viewed This Page Recently” bar which will make a lot of people enter yours!
- Thank members that viewed your profile and invite them to join your community if they are interested.
- Join the popular Communities (e.g. TechCrunch) and Leave a message so you`ll appear in the top of the Messages bar.
- Make a screenshot for your website.
I know that is important cuz I don’t click on Communities/sites that don’t have a ScreenShot! - Put an attractive Picture/Avatar.-very important-
- Enter to famous Blogs that use “Recent Readers Widget” constantly so you`ll appear on the “Recent Readers” list..and so with an attracting Avatar you`ll get some traffic from here and there.

is Mybloglog a free service
or is it on a 3-day trial basis?
Well it`s a free service and it`s not!!
It comes like that…as you can see in QuickOnlineTips post it says “bla bla bla ..beyond site statistics” so MyBlogLog was offering a good statistics tool for free and of course if you want more options and information you need to pay!
it`s just like w3counter and FeedBurner. You can use their free account or pay for more professional and comprehensive stats.
Just click on “View Site Stats” on your Community page and you`ll understand everything.
