Should Enblogopedia Go Wiki?!
2 days ago, Everton told me that I need to change my blog title (and some content) when I asked him, how “blogging encyclopedia” sound in the title?!
He told me that I need to remove “football news”, the sport and the personal category!
Since it sounds like an encyclopedia about ‘blogs’. And the blog is really confusing and hard to read for a human, so how about google?!!
which I believe it`s true!
And now, I`m thinking of converting my blog to a wiki, this way it`ll be a real encyclopedia about blogs! And bloggers can edit and add on it.
You may say that, what is the benefit of writing in others` websites?!
Well, no one will say no for extra backlink!
As after each article there`ll be a ‘References’ section for that propose!
And a short history about the author.
And even more features that I won’t talk about right now!
SO, how it sound?!!
Should Enblogopedia Go Wiki?!

i definitely agree with Mr.Everton in removing the Football and Personal category sections
but dont and I really mean DONT even think of turning your blog into a Wiki
the Good Wiki’s out there (Wikipedia.org being no#1) are controlled by very high specialized staff and spam proctecting bots
I dont think you will manage to make Enblogopedia that much as a big Wiki
The best suggestion would be to remove Personal and Games Categories and make Categories regarding Blogs and post about, for and from Blogs
Yes Indeed Ibrahim, you do hold the credit for being innovative and that I must say comes from the domain enblogopedia.com which inspired me to register Sizlopedia.com
Good Luck
Well, Dj…handling the wiki isn’t hard…at least at the start. And making an encyclopedia just about blogs is just a great idea!
I`m not planning to compete Wikipedia! but making a big (maybe the biggest!) resource for blogging in the internet!!
Anyway, thanks for your comment..I think I need to be patient, and wait more suggestions and thoughts!
Starting a Wiki is not a decision to be taken lightly and will require a lot of help and support. I wouldn’t do it unless you have a few people lined up who are willing to help
Recently I had been to WikiCamp, there I met Jimbo (Wikipedia Founder), I asked him abt the enormous growth of Wikipedia and why he doesn’t consider putting ads in Wikipedia. His answers where pretty straight forward – “How can you make money by others writing the articles and you don’t even pay a penny to them”.
It had some sense to me. Although you blog domain sounds somewhat like a encylopedia, it doesn’t necessarily mean a wiki. Encyclopedia were exsiting even before Wikis and like Everton said, its not so easy, we all have to team up togather to make it possible.
What have you thought?
Hmmmmm, I see!
ok I think you`re right…..anyway after my exams i`ll have more time to think about it!
