PayPerPost Deal is Off and Metrics become an orphan!
In unexpected move Nick Wilson expose today that the deal with PayPerPost is off and he said:”After much discussion, we’ve decided that the deal proposed by PayPerPost just isnt right for us or our community.“
And he continues that Metrics will end at this level…
Our free blog statistics package, Metrics will be given back to the community with our thanks — we can no longer run it, which means the service will end, but we hope that the developer community will make good use of the code and that we can continue to help the project by hosting it and providing support where we can.
And for an alternative service Nick recommended FeedBurner Blog Stats.
The real good news is that Performancing will continue to develop Performancing Partners, which I believe in this way Performancing will get more time to focus on this service and make it better and better. I wish you luck guys!
I think Performancing did the right thing, What do you think?
