Especially the blue + orange text on gray background doesn't work at all! I also have heard people say it is more straining on the eyes to read white text on black background than vice versa. Design wise.. you shouldn't worry too much about rounded corners. They are not an absolute necessity (also buggy on your blog). Just like Maki said, where is the logo/blog name??
