HowTo:Create, Choose and Modify a WordPress Theme

After we’ve learned “How to play with WordPress files and templates“. It`s time to choose a free or GPL-Licensed theme to modify it and make it unique!
For this, there`s a lot of resources. You can just search google about “wordpress themes” or anything you like. Anyway, WordPress.org has a great resources page can be found here.
And to know how to use themes you can read this guide Using themes.
Try to visit Themes.WordPress.net,the official theme directory it`s also a great place to search!

One of the best and famous themes is K2 Theme. It`s an easy to use theme, you don’t have to miss with the core files, all you need to do is to create new style and add it to the Style folder and That`s it!

Note:you really can’t miss this series, I learned much from it!

After learning CSS and playing with WordPress, you`ll find it very easy to edit and modify any theme just like I did!

My original theme was Green MarinÃ©e template, with a little of experience (from reading the preceding resources) I modify it and added a new features, ~~you`ll know about them when I release the theme for public(very soon)!~~This theme and other free themes are now available!

John (the guy who taught you how to run WordPress on Computer) also posted a fantastic guide about how to build a theme from scratch with title “Dissection of a WordPress Theme” which also can be downloaded as PDF file from here!
