Removing scripts on our site would mean removing Google Coop Search, Google Adsense ads, Feedburner site ads, Blogads, Mybloglog traffic stats, Mybloglog community code, Polls, Sitemeter, Kontera, Google Analytics…

As you can see this is a small list of what would you lose in this day, but is this everything?!
A very important note that Pchere mentioned “between lines!” :

Adsense, Kontera and Feedburner codes can be easily removed, paying Blogads advertisers would be unhappy (and it violates advertising terms of service) if I removed the javascript ad code for a day.

Which is very critical. Don’t think that advertisers are paying you to participate in such events!
So before participating in the Scriptless Day which is on July the 7th, by the way, think again and read carefully your AD provider terms of service!

How To Backup Your Blog Content?

Backing up your blog content is an easy work, especially if you are a WordPress user. As the WordPress Team provide you a step-by-step tutorial of how to backup your DB.

You can also do this by using the wp-db-backup Plugin, this plugin was un-bundled from the newest wordpress release, I think the reason is WXR file that the new WP version can create.

What is the WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR) file?

It`s an XML(more) file that contains your posts, comments, custom fields, and categories.
It`s first found to move your content to another blog, but hey…it can be used as backup obviously.
To create a WXR file just enter your admin panel, Click on the Manage Tab -> Export.
And importing the file is also an easy work and the steps of doing this can be found in the XML file itself:

1. Log into that blog as an administrator.
2. Go to Manage: Import in the blog’s admin panels.
3. Choose “WordPress” from the list.
4. Upload this file using the form provided on that page.
5. You will first be asked to map the authors in this export file to users on the blog. For each author, you may choose to map to an existing user on the blog or to create a new user.
6. WordPress will then import each of the posts, comments, and categories contained in this file into your blog.

And that`s it, guys.

For this, and to encourage more people to comment on my blogs, I’ve installed Show Top Commentators plugin, so that the top 5 weekly commentators will be rewarded by a free backlink to their sites. This would be the case in this PR4 blog and my PR5 soccer blog too!

One of the great articles Mark (aka Podz) wrote was the Quicktags Guide. In this article Mark will teach you how to add more Quicktags to your Code Editor Quicktags list. This is a super tutorial, especially for those who don’t use the Rich Editor, like me.

Adding the frequently used Quicktags will save you a lot of time, and in my case these tags would be h3, sup, left/right floated(<span>) objects(e.g. Adsense blocks).

I really think that using Quicktags to customize your posts will save you a lot of work, as for me, each time I want to put an Adsense block within a post, I need to enclose it with a span and add a specific style. For this I added two Quicktags to do the job for me:

This way, all I have to do is to insert the Adsense html comment provided by the great Adsense-Deluxe plugin and enclose it with one of the above tags with one click!

How Can I Test My Blog Without CSS?

Well, there`re several ways:

1. If your are a FireFox user then using this extension will give you an option to disable all Styles from a specific page.
   After installing the extension, from CSS drop-down menu choose Disable Styles>All Styles (or just click Ctrl+Shift+S)
   Note That:This Extension is a must for WebMasters!
2. If you are using any plugin that will do the job for you. Change your Computer Date temporarily to 5/4 and check your blog.

Is This Bad?

Well, having a lot of pages with the same page title isn’t a good thing, and it`ll obviously affect your tag pages position in SERPs.

Hopefully, Michael Woehrer has a lot of useful functions within his plugin that can be used to change the title of the Tag page.

For this, we`ll use two functions:STP_GetCurrentTagSet() and STP_IsTagView().
More about these functions can be found here. Just as follows:

The template tag <?php STP_CurrentTagSet(); ?> outputs the tags used in a tag search, that means it displays the current tags when a visitor is browsing tags.

The template tag STP_IsTagView() can be used to determine if the current view will be returning tag search results. It returns TRUE if a tag search was requested (that means that a visitor is browsing tags), FALSE otherwise.

Here`re what you need to do.

First, edit your header.php file and replace the <title> tag as the following:
<title><?php if(function_exists('STP_IsTagView') && STP_IsTagView()) { STP_CurrentTagSet();} else { bloginfo('name'); wp_title();} ?></title>
This way, if the plugin is activated and your are in the Tag page, your page title will show the tag as title. You can have a lot of forms of this code, such as:
<title><?php if(function_exists('STP_IsTagView') && STP_IsTagView()) { STP_CurrentTagSet(); echo ' - '; bloginfo('name');} else { bloginfo('name'); wp_title();} ?></title>
Or replacing STP_CurrentTagSet(); echo ‘ – ‘; bloginfo(‘name’); with echo ‘Search Results for ‘; STP_CurrentTagSet();.

Or if you have a long blog name, just like mine, as I`m using “Blogging Encyclopedia – Enblogopedia“. And I`m also using the SEO Title Tag plugin. My code looks like:

So it`s really depend on your current Title tag, the easiest way is just to put the current title tag inside the else {} statement. This way, whenever you are not in a tag page it`ll show up your default(current) title tag.

I did a lot of coding to it, so it looks as it`s now. The point is, if you spend a lot of your time on graphics and forgot the most important thing, yes coding, then you may end up banned from google, or just at the 100000 position for your targeted keywords! Because of bad SEO template. And then, tell me what is your site really worth?!
