Blogging For Dummies-THE SERIES!-


Today I`ll start a series of articles that will help new bloggers or any reader to start blogging the right way..
Depending on my point view of blogging and my little experience in this field, I`ll try to give you the right references so you can read and learn what i learned in two weeks.

I`ll link to the websites that helped me start blogging, so you can know where to start. And then discuss the problems and the obstacles that you may face and try to avoid them.

-People who want to use free blog service(blogger..etc) may not need to read all the series-

This series will talk about the following:

  1. How to learn the basics of CSS the easiest way.(Most Important Point!)
  2. How to download and run WordPress on your computer.
  3. How to play with WordPress files and templates.
  4. Choosing a free or GPL-Licensed theme to modify or how to design your own theme or style(for K2-themes).
  5. Choosing a Domain name and a good host plan.
  6. Install WordPress, upload your theme and active the desired Plugins.
  7. Start Blogging!

Note:all the discussion will be about WordPress blog-platform.
DON’T ASK WHY I CHOOSE “Blogging For Dummies”, I LOVE “FOR DUMMIES” HEADLINES :)
