A Word Of Thanks!
I’d always appreciate the open-source projects(who doesn’t?!). How not to, and I`m using one of the famous open-source projects(the lovely WordPress).
A lot of you are using WP blog platform, one of the free Linux OS or any open-source projects. And we are not in direct contact with the Volunteers/heroes who are really stand behind such Big Big projects!
We don’t know them, feel them or sharing their worries..and to be honest, they are not asking too!
And today, when I was reading my feeds I read an article in the FedoraNews Community with title “No Fedora Weekly News this Week“!
Thomas Chung wrote that this week there`ll be no Fedora news! and the reason was:
There will be no Fedora Weekly News this week as I’m recovering from SCALE fever.
I suffered a minor backache and lost voice since I didn’t get any help or volunteer for this year’s Fedora Booth at SCALE.
This made me feel too bad!
And start to make me thinking….Why should guy like Thomas spend a lot of his valuable time with nothing in returns..”FedoraNEWS.ORG is a non-commercial, non-profit organization to serve Fedora Community with useful and helpful information.”
But when I see the huge number of downloads of Fedora Core 6 (Zod), I can see the returns of his work! 
..And then I read another article with title “Wikipedia could shut within 3/4 months”
The reason of (shutting down Wikipedia) is that there`re no sufficient financial support to one of the greatest (if not the greatest) informative resource on the internet and even the world!
And when I say “financial support” I don’t mean sponsors and Advertisements! Because Wikipedia`s owners could get hundreds of millions from Wikipedia each month! but this is what you get when you go open-source!
Anyway, I believe that not only Thomas will be proud. All open-source volunteers will have the same feeling when they accomplish such projects.
As a Computer Science and Informatics student, I hope to get involved in one of these great projects or even start my own!
and from now to then, I just want to say…..THANK YOU!

I have to say Thomas is one of the most hard working individuals I have ever met.
Your thoughts has made it to him through the link posted in the Fedora Ambassadors Mailing list.

I`m a fan of Linux long time ago..and I`m waiting the latest version of Fedora to be released to move completely to Linux and say goodbye to Microsoft!
