HowTo:Optimize Your Tag Page Title – Simple Tagging Plugin

I’ve noticed when I installed the Simple Tagging Plugin that the WordPress can’t find a title to the tag search results page(tag page), so it`s just putting “- Enblogopedia”.

Is This Bad?

Well, having a lot of pages with the same page title isn’t a good thing, and it`ll obviously affect your tag pages position in SERPs.

Hopefully, Michael Woehrer has a lot of useful functions within his plugin that can be used to change the title of the Tag page.

For this, we`ll use two functions:STP_GetCurrentTagSet() and STP_IsTagView().

Am I missing something?!

Yesterday, I checked my new blog/domain Google webmaster page, and I was shocked when I saw my new blog already indexed within 2-4 days!

I only linked to it from this PR3 non-indexed blog and it got a link back from ConnectedInternet blog yesterday. Although it`s indexed now!

I know that it`s something great but…..What is wrong with this blog?!
I tried everything, I even sent two reinclusion requests through Google Webmaster, and still don’t get it!

Should I wait till the next PR update?! even if it`s not related!
Or should I just wait and wait and wait….!
I`m so angry and sad!

And finally, Am I missing something?!

Graphics or Coding…What is Your Choice?!

As usual, Lorelle wrote a great article on The Blog Herald blog, discussing the importance of the interface/design and what-is-really-matter issue.

By judging websites on their surface levels, web designers tend to present the perspective that the surface is the only part that matters. Sorry, folks. It’s the power of the code underneath the surface that makes a web design powerful. And beautiful. Not the pretty face.

Aaaah, this sentence -in bold- is a killer!
Just like “Code is Poetry“…it says everything. There are a lot of websites, that have the “look”, but did you try to test them in 800×600 or in IE6, for example?! And the worst…both cases!

Announcing the Launch of SoccerSpeech

Today, SoccerSpeech was officially launched to the public. Some of you know, that I was posting “Sports” articles from time to time, but after the relaunch of enblogopedia. There will be no place for such posts in this blog. But as I can’t live without sharing news, and especially about things I really love. I opened this blog.

Getting the news is easier from BIG sites like ESPN, Yahoo Sports, FOXsports..etc. But sharing thoughts about players, matches and clubs is really what my blog offers.

Enblogopedia Back Again!

After more than 10 days without any activity because of my exams, and after some modification on this theme, I think it`s the time to announce the relaunch of Enblogopedia!

Let me write down the changes that happen to my blog, and my new object.
As you can see, the design changed to a heavily modified version of Dropshadow theme which was originally made by Brian Gardner. Changes come as follows:

  1. Making the theme fluid as it was acting oddly in both FF and IE6 when its viewed in 800×600.
  2. Change the header design and designing a logo depending on this great photoshop tutorial!
  3. Designing a custom RSS feed icon -see the sidebar-, and a custom comment style for me(as an admin, of course:))

And some other tweaks here and there.
